June Books

I totally missed bookclub last month and I feel terrible. I guess there were some pretty racy comments which makes me feel even worse for missing! :) I don't know where my mind has gone. I am really looking forward to out next meeting now since 2 months will have gone by.

Nancy is going to host! Yay! We will meet the first Wednesday of June, which is the 6th. To reiterate, it is the FIRST wednesday of June. :) Hopefully I will remember. We will continue to read Mistborn and our other book is:

Lincoln the Unknown by Dale Carnegie

Thank you to Bryn for hosting and to Steph for making the great treats. And Nancy came! It was so great to have you back at book club last night! It sure made for a spiritual evening. I know we all are grateful to hear you talk about your experiences these last few months. We still pray for Spencer and your whole family. All of you ladies are amazing, I am so lucky to be among you.

February Book Club

Thanks everyone for coming to last book club, it was really fun!

The next two books we are doing are:

When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead



and a Sherlock Holmes book, Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle



I am really curious about this Sherlock Holmes book and am hoping it turns out good since none of us have read it yet. Some of the other Sherlock books had some interesting content.

We will meet next at Stephanie's house on a Friday this time. It will be February 10th. After that, bookclub will change to the first Wednesday, so March's meeting will be on March 7th.
